Barack Obama, The MOST Hated President...Ummm No.

So there's this trend, fad, whatever you wanna call it of people expressing outrage that there are people who have a very vocal and differing opinion than President Obama. This leads people to state that Barack Obama is the most hated President. Not only is this inaccurate, but is far from true. Is Obama the most disagreed with President ? Maybe so, but it's no small mystery as to why. However I'll contend that the most hated President was in fact George W. Bush, and Barack Obama is fact THE MOST ISOLATED President and I have ample evidence to support my claims.

Let's set the clocks back to 2006. I was at the mall with a friend at a store called "Spencer's", anyone who's ever been in a Spencer's knows exactly what's in such a place. Upon entry, I took a quick glance at the shirt rack and my eyes fell upon something that LITERALLY made me collapse to the ground in howls of laughter, passer byers be damned. What was it that caused me to make a scene in the middle of the mall?

This still cracks me up.

Remembering that moment and reflecting back to my younger self, I had nothing but contempt for politicians (especially Bush) and while I still hold all politicians in utter contempt, I'm nonetheless aware of the ridicule politicians receive on the day to day bases. I don't know when the trend of mocking political figures in America became a natural pass time, but I can imagine it started back in the day with political woodcuts lampooning the current President. However, a savvy Bill Clinton impression is one thing, making a botched paternal innuendo in regards to a position on The Gulf War is another animal entirely. For the slow crowd, what I'm saying is that portraying Bill Clinton as a hype-sexualized failure (as "The Simpsons" does) and suggesting George W. Bush shouldn't have been born and using the man's father to express that regret is over the proverbial line.

Imagine for a second if someone produced a T-Shirt of Barack Obama Sr. with the words "I shouldn't have had him in Kenya". Well, naturally Liberals and Democrats would be up in arms! Al Sharpton would be holding press conference after press conference to make sure that the makers of the t-shirt are not only reprimanded but shamed. Spike Lee would take to his twitter and give the angry public the wrong address of The Shirt Makers and a hellstorm would reign down upon the media the likes of which we've NEVER seen. naturally, such a T-Shirt doesn't exist, for the reasons I listed above. And while we're on the subject.

Let's talk about The Birthers. I'm confused as to why people still bring them up in conversation, as if their position and constant saber rattling has done anything effective in stopping Obama from claiming The White House not once BUT TWICE! Obviously The Birthers are about as effective Obamacare (Yeah, I took it there!). In all seriousness though, no one takes the claims of The Birthers seriously and yet the media constantly references them as if they're some serious threat to Obama. Obama has NEVER been faced with a serious threat, because he has something MUCH stronger on his side. RACE BAITERS!

In 2005, when Hurricane Katrina hit Louisiana, many celebrities went on television for a telethon to raise money for the survivors of Hurricane Katrina. On national television, Kanye West, in a moment now notorious in history, deviated from script and said publicly "George Bush doesn't care about Black People.". Was their a national incident? Was their a scandal? Were their pundits coming out of the woodwork demanding an apology from Mr. West? Nope. In fact, Kanye apologized to Bush, OF HIS OWN VOLITION! Bush would later remark that Kanye's comment was "one of the most disgusting moments" of his Presidency. YES, This was said while George Bush was currently in office. And MANY defended Kanye's comments and felt that he need not apologize for them. Regardless of how you feel, you have to stop and consider that The (then) President Bush was (in no uncertain words) called a racist on live television. Ouch!

But let's flashforward and go to a senate hearing in which President Obama was called something;

Of course, a good portion of that DID turn out to be a lie...but whatever. WHAT?! A President, called a LIAR?! THIS IS UNHEARD OF! HOW DISRESPECTFUL! Or maybe you can take the blinders off your eyes and realize that Presidents have been called and accused of MUCH worse than simply lying (which Obama did do by the way, let's not get that confused.). So while Obama was called a liar on the floor of the senate, a few years back, this interesting incident happened to George Bush while he was in Iraq.

Now I understand that Obama was called a liar on the floor of the senate by his own people (when he was in fact lying) and Bush was almost assaulted by a foreigner, the contrast is stark nonetheless. George Bush got a shoe thrown at him, got called a racist, and t-shirts were made suggesting his birth was a regrettable mistake, meanwhile, Obama gets called a liar (when he was in fact lying) and a group of ineffectual losers question his status as a citizen of The United States.

If that doesn't set up a stark contrast between these two men, then allow me to drop another hammer on you all. Back in 2001, Matt Stone & Trey Parker (yes, the creators of "Southpark") created a live action sit-com called "That's My Bush", which featured (YOU GUESSED IT!) (then) President Bush as an ineffectual moron, and lampooned several members of The Bush Administration, including Karl Rove and of course, President Bush's wife, Laura Bush. The series lasted only 1 season. But nonetheless the fact that it was made and aired shows utter contempt for Bush. Now granted, the series was originally going to be titled "Everybody Loves Al" because Stone & Parker were convinced Al Gore would win, but in light of the election controversies of 2000, Bush seemed to be the best choice. Was there a national incident about this show? A media uproar ? Nope! Granted, Stone & Parker aren't newbies when it comes to controversy and they welcome it with open arms. But you can imagine the hellfire that'd come down upon them should they have released a show called "Barack The House", which featured Barack Obama as a stereotypical African American caricature.

Stone & Parker don't have much luck in the live action department.

George Bush had a show made about him which depicted him as an ABSOLUTE moron while he was still in office, got a shoe thrown at him, got called a racist, and t-shirts were made suggesting his birth was a regrettable mistake, meanwhile, Obama gets called a liar (when he was in fact lying) and a group of ineffectual losers question his status as a citizen of The United States. Oh, but let's not forget these;

Oh yes, the popularity of these bumper stickers SKYROCKETED and I started seeing them EVERYWHERE! Yeah...So a centralized, Racist (or sadly stupid and misspelling) area of American made bumper stickers that said "Don't Re-Nig(as in "Nigger")" instead of "Don't Re-neg". Oooh, ouch, The Obama Administration is SURELY harmed by those MASSIVELY popular bumper stickers. Such disrespect...from racists who'd never respect him anyway...WOW! Yeah, Obama certainly considers those bumper stickers the low point in his 2 terms as President. It's not like getting a shoe thrown at you or a TV show portraying you as an idiot...or ya know, having an image of your father regretting your birth...but still A SMALL GROUP OF RACISTS MADE RACIST BUMPER STICKERS! WHA?! Someone get Al Sharpton on the phone, NOW!

Getting back on the topic of Race-baiting  Awhile back, Bill Clinton, when speaking to Ted Kennedy, made the following comment about Obama "A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.". Now, IMMEDIATELY, EVERYONE and My Momma, took this a racist jab...as opposed to Bill saying that Obama is so inexperienced that he wouldn't have been in such a position. Ya know, this reminds me of an episode of "The Sopranos", when Christopher Moltisanti (now a made man) was allowed to sit at the table with New Jersey acting-boss, Johnny Sack. Chrissy got to talking and inadvertently insulted Johnny Sack. Johnny Sack said, "Ya know, it wasn't too long ago when I remember you used to wait in the car...and as far as I'm concerned YOU SHOULD STILL BE THERE!".

 Maybe THAT'S what Clinton was saying. Maybe Clinton is actually taking a jab at Obama being inexperienced as opposed to him making a racist comment. Is it the "getting us coffee" comment? Cause ya know, slavery. Of course it's a racist comment because Clinton is calling Obama inexperienced...ya know...because he's Black. OR is Clinton just making a snide comment like most people? I'm gonna go for the snide comment, because inferring racism where it isn't CLEAR AND PRESENT is a dangerous thing.

Dangerous enough to result in this DELIGHTFUL little moment where a Rodeo Clown donned an Obama mask to distract a bull. Presidents have had SEVERAL masks made of them! There was an episode of "Just Shoot Me!" where one of characters, Nina Van Horn (a sex crazed model) once recalled a story where during a Halloween party, she was solicited (for sex) by a man in a Jimmy Carter mask. There are movies that depict criminals dressed as Nuns, in Blackface, and wearing masks of various Presidents. But a random rodeo clown in nowhere is called a racist...because he's wearing an Obama mask...because ya know...Obama's Black...and slavery...and...Lee Doren sums this up nicely.

Last but not least, let's talk about REAL LIFE! In real life, TWO sitting Presidents were EFFECTIVELY impeached and BOTH were White. Richard Nixon (who resigned) and Bill Clinton, and while the ineffective, toothless losers known as The Birthers made several (laughable, mock-worthy) attempts to get Obama impeached, NO ONE CONSIDERS THEM TO BE A REAL THREAT OR ARE TAKING THEM SERIOUSLY! Quite frankly, I dismiss anyone who suggests that Obama was born in Kenya. I'm not a Birther. I just strongly disagree with several of his policies, his ideas and the way he goes about doing things. But thanks to Race-Baiters, Obama is now unable to come under fire, because he's Black. Basically ANY VALID criticism that's leveled at Obama is re-interrupted as racism. Which leads to one to believe that there can be no criticism of Obama unless you're a Racist. Only a racist disagrees with Obama, only a racist has anything negative to say about Obama, only a racist would have a different opinion then Obama.

So all the VALID criticism that is leveled at Obama, doesn't even reach Obama because race-baiters are safeguarding him from those "racist comments", by expressing outrage at anyone who nay says. While I'm not speaking in defense of George Bush, I'm just saying George Bush has endured a much more hate filled and lampooned Presidency than I'd imagine any President now and then. And while people say that Obama is the most hated President, it's unfortunately because this generation confuses criticism with hatred...and that's just silly, almost as silly as Sandra Fluke (rimshot!). Oh and since I just brought up that little tramp, I'll close with this, if Sarah Palin can get called everything under the sun and NOT get a phone call from Obama asking her if she was okay, Sandra "I'm having so much sex that I can't afford to pay for my birth control, despite the fact that I can get one of my MANY partners to pay for it but I'm too lazy and too stupid to do that so I'm going to make a Catholic institution, who wholeheartedly disapprove of Birth Control, pay for it." Fluke, shouldn't have a hissy-fit because some pain-killer pill popping, drug addict called her a whore.
